Anxiety approaches
If you’re living with worry that’s gotten in the way of your life, you’re not alone. The NIMH estimates that over 30% of adults have experienced an anxiety disorder in their lifetime. This number doesn’t even include the 7% of adults that are experiencing similar symptoms due to a past traumatic experience (PTSD).
“Anxiety disorders” cover a wide variety of worries and fears that have gotten out of hand, from worry about your performance, other people’s judgment, or losing the ones you love to fears of illness, crowded places, or reminders of a traumatic experience or reexperiencing panic attacks.
At Crocus Counseling, we help you face your fears and get back to the life you were meant to live using individualized approaches drawn from eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). exposure therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT).
