Fees

All fees can be paid by cash or check (preferred) and are due at the time of service. I also use Square to accept all major credit cards, HSA, and FSA cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. A list of payment types accepted by Square can be found here

Note: HSA/FSA cards cannot be used to pay no show/late cancellation fees.

 

Fee Schedule

$175 – Initial evaluation

$155 – One-hour follow-up session

$130 – Abbreviated 45-minute follow-up session

$55 – No show/late cancellation (within 24 hours of the appointment) fee

A sliding scale is available upon request for significant financial need.

Insurance

In Network

I am “in network” for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan (BCBS) and Blue Care Network (BCN).

This means you are only responsible for your outpatient mental health treatment copays, and your insurance company has bargained for a fee reduction from me, and will cover the rest. My BCBS directory listing lists plans I accept

Out of Network

I am “out of network” for all other insurance providers. This means you are responsible for paying session fees directly. For many insurance companies (Priority, Aetna, etc.), I can submit all necessary documentation for you electronically! (I can also give you paper documentation to submit on your own if you’d prefer.) Your insurance company will then send YOU a check to reimburse at their “out of network” rates (for some plans, up to 80% after your deductible is met). You can call your insurance company for specific information, ask about your “out-of-network mental/behavioral health benefits.”
